Charlie's Old Fashioned Kitchen

Visited for lunch and it got busy. Our waitress was super friendly and very patient explaining the menu and options. She remembered who ordered what (we had a group of 10 people). Everyone enjoyed their meal. A few wanted dessert but they didn't have what they wanted. The restroom was clean.

They moved location! This location is much bigger and sit down with menus and servers. They also have an ice cream "bar" with bluebell. Over all great place and great food just like always. I also 100% appreciate the gluten free bread option!

When we me and my two kids walked in. We were impressed with the culture and vibe here. We ordered our meal. I purchased the chicken fried chicken, my two kids ordered the jalapeno burger, chili cheese burger and we got the fried mushrooms as our appetizer. Let me tell. We were IMPRESSED! From the badder to the taste of the chicken fried chicken, the fried mushrooms, their ranch dipping for the appetizer, their Jalapenos Burger was great, their chili cheese burger was great, their French fries were perfect. To top it off, our waitress was wonderful. It’s rare that I give 5-stars, but this place deserves all 5-stars. EVERY. SINGLE. ITEM. Was delicious. From the smell, taste, presentation and service. I’ll definitely be back.

We loved this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and family-friendly. The staff is super nice. We were able to get right in. The food was delicious, and was perfect temperature. Afterward, we had to try one of the Blue bell ice cream selections and took home a Dutch chocolate meringue pie that was homemade! We will definitely be back

Went to visit a friend in Farmersville for the first time. Had a late lunch here,not super busy, which was nice. Hostess immediately greeted us. Alex was our waiter. Don’t ever judge a book by its cover. He was AMAZING!!!!!!

I can't remember the last time I had food this good. Service was great, great music and environment. Food wasn't the quickest coming out, but that's to be expected at a local place. I had chicken tenders, fried okra and french fries. Every single item on my plate was incredibly delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone!

Wow! If this is not one of the best dining experiences I’ve had so far and my new go to place in Farmersville. If you haven’t been to the Charlie’s Burgers new location yet you are sorely missing out! They totally revamped their menu and the food was delicious. Me and my husband go here fairly often now and the restaurant is huge. be sure to try the chicken friend steak or ribeyes. Great place to go to after a school game!

Went here on a Friday night have never heard of this cute little place. The dinner rush had not yet began...Walked in got seated immediately. Waitress Hailey, (I believe) was at our table the moment we sat. We had 3, 1/2 n half teas w/lemons. Super fresh Tea, it was nice & strong the lemons were awesome, not dried out like most places. We ordered Fried Pickle appetizer, it was so good we could have made a meal out of that alone. Ummm...but NO, we had main meal of 2 CFS 1 CFC, 2 fried okra, 1 mashed potatoes, 1 sweet potatoe fries & my daughter wanted mac n cheese so we got that too! Let me say this, I never eat mac n cheese bc it taste like Elmers glue, so its not my fave side dish, but when it came to our table I took a bite & ohhhh man it was ahhmazing! In fact, so good we ordered another one. We normally have left overs but tonight there wasn't anyone in my family that took home left overs bc we polished our plates! All. Of. It Seriously, that good yall! We probly won't eat for 2 days but, if we do this just might be our next meal again! I'm for sure getting that buttermilk coconut cream pie, and a pecan to have for later. This place is not only a chill comfy casual setting, but the waitstaff is hopping & popping out piping hot home cooked goodness. Yall go eat, you'll enjoy it!
